What counts as a separate winery?
Each estate or primary winery gets a profile. A brand’s downtown tasting room is identified separately within its visit information, so a tasting counter does not get mistaken for a vineyard. Regional groups are designed for travel planning, not legal wine appellations.

Serenberry Vineyards
Serenberry announced its retirement from the wine industry and closed the Morganton tasting room on March 30, 2025. Older directory listings may still show it as open, but it should not be used as a current tasting stop.

The Alto winery was destroyed by fire on January 22, 2025 and is not a current estate stop. The official site currently says the Helen tasting room at 8016 South Main Street is selling remaining inventory Thursday–Sunday. Confirm those hours and stock directly before traveling.
Sweet Acre official status and hours →Kingwood Resort
Kingwood now publishes a dedicated winery page for its Currahee-produced Chechero line: Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet and Signature 4. The page sends visitors to the restaurant for operating hours rather than publishing separate tasting-room hours, so the resort is not presented as an ordinary walk-in winery stop. Confirm a tasting directly.

We could not verify a current official winery website and tasting operation for this older Clayton listing. It is excluded from recommended tasting routes pending confirmation; third-party directory pages are not treated as proof of current operation.
Official calendar conflict
Discover Dahlonega’s Christmas page publishes November 28 for its music and tree-lighting ceremony, while the separate Christmas in Dahlonega schedule publishes November 27. The event remains tied to the official tourism date in this guide, with a prompt to confirm the final schedule before traveling.

Satellite tasting locations
Examples include Buckley Downtown, Odom Springs on Blairsville Square, Tiger Mountain’s Dahlonega tasting room, Doghobble’s additional tasting rooms and Paradise Hills’ Georgia Wine Depot in Blue Ridge. Use the parent winery’s official links to confirm the correct location and hours.
