Using this guide

Winery filters and trip preferences run in your browser. The trip planner does not require your name, email, precise location or lodging address. Your dates and selected interests are not included in the planner analytics events.

Email updates

If you choose to subscribe, we collect your email and any optional name or phone you provide. The signup also records campaign and referring-page information to help us understand which visits lead to subscriptions. Your optional phone number does not enroll you in text messages. SommeTech processes the site’s signup form.

Analytics and browser storage

We use Google Analytics to understand site visits, newsletter submissions and interactions such as planner opens and links to featured providers. Browser storage remembers signup, cookie-notice and popup preferences and campaign attribution.

Maps and external services

Map tiles load from OpenStreetMap. Google Maps route links include only the public venues and stops in the displayed itinerary. These providers and our hosting provider may process technical request data such as your IP address. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. Google Maps directions, venue websites and booking links are external services with their own privacy practices. Featured-provider links include campaign tags that do not contain your contact details or trip dates.

Your choices

You can use the guide without joining the email list. Follow the unsubscribe instructions in any update to stop those emails, and clear browser storage to reset saved site preferences.
