The current resort winery page and FAQ were rechecked October 29, 2026. The separate legacy winery subdomain still displays older hours and a seven-pour description, so this profile follows the newer chateauelan.com pages and advises direct confirmation.
What to expect when you arrive
- Tasting experience
- Advance reservations are required for tours and tastings. The Chateau tasting offers six selected pours; the tour-and-tasting experience includes five. Wine by the glass or bottle is available without a reservation.
- Food & picnics
- Charcuterie is available in the tasting room and outside food or beverages are not permitted. The resort’s restaurants are separate reservations from winery experiences.
- Children, pets & access
- Indoor and patio seating is open rather than assigned. Last tastings begin one hour before closing and last glass service is 30 minutes before closing. Georgia Sunday wine sales begin at 12:30 p.m. Lodging, dining, tours and tasting reservations are separate arrangements.
- Published hours
- Monday closed; Tuesday–Thursday noon–6 p.m.; Friday–Sunday noon–7 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
