After lunch, make Bear Claw Vineyards the anchor of your tasting day. Add Kerith House if the opening hours, journey and your group’s pace fit comfortably. Read the wine selections and visitor policies before reserving. This route works across the year when the venues are open; confirm the current schedule, arrange a sober driver and keep dinner unhurried.

Book a spring railway trip or browse the Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association. If Spring Arts in the Park is on your dates, give the festival a real morning window rather than treating it as a short stop.
