Start early on Sweetwater Creek’s Red Trail, choosing the mill turn-around or the full falls out-and-back for the group. Cool down, have lunch and only then begin the winery portion of the day.

After lunch, make Little Vine Vineyards and Winery the anchor of your tasting day. Add The Vineyard at Hominy Creek if the opening hours, journey and your group’s pace fit comfortably. Read the wine selections and visitor policies before reserving. This route works across the year when the venues are open; confirm the current schedule, arrange a sober driver and keep dinner unhurried.

Reserve a suitable Historic Banning Mills experience, or explore the Center for the Arts. An adventure booking takes real time and should replace a second departure-day activity.

Keep this a distinct West Georgia trip. Choose Carrollton or Villa Rica and map the winery hours; Dallas and Bremen are alternative branches, not required detours.
Spring planning notes
Spring rain and high creek levels can affect trail conditions. The official route is 1 mile one way, takes an estimated 1–2 hours each way and becomes significantly harder beyond the mill.
If the weather changes
Switch the trail for arts and town browsing, then keep lunch and the winery plan. Move the outdoor activity only if the park confirms a suitable later window.
